Cheer on Vail's Yeti Hockey team this season as they celebrate their 7th year at Dobson Arena. This season, the Yeti will face competition such as the Sun Valley Suns, Boulder Bison, Aspen Leafs, and more.
The Yeti received a rest day on Friday, as their game against the Essex Hunt Club of New Jersey was canceled due to adverse weather. This rest proved to be just what the team needed, as they prevailed 5-4 over the New Jersey team. Yeti Captain Bill foster scored twice in the third period of the game, solidifying the Yeti's win.
The action continues this weekend at Dobson Arena, as the Yeti take on the New England Snowflakes. Both games, Friday, February 14th and Saturday, February 15th, begin at 7:45 p.m.
