Last week the Yeti faced the New York Fire Department hockey team, splitting their two-game series 7-6 and 6-2. With four minutes remaining in the third period of Friday night's game, Yeti forward Tom Budzynski scored the game winning goal, leading the team to a 7-6 victory over the FDNY. The FDNY, however, responded on Saturday by beating the Yeti 6-2, splitting the series.

The Yeti return to Dobson Arena this weekend to take on the Breckenridge Vipers. Both games, Friday, January 17th, and Saturday, January 18th, begin at 7:45 p.m. The games are presented by Vail Summit Orthopaedics, a proud sponsor of the Vail Yeti.
