Get to know Covey with these fun facts:

  1. Although Freeman is originally from England, he relocated to the US to attend school in Boston.
  2. His distinct folk-rock sound draws on inspiration from artists including Neutral Milk Hotel, The Smiths, and Nick Drake.
  3. Paste Magazine described Freeman's style of music as, "fashioning acute melodies and cathartic songwriting into reflective, soul-stirring melancholia. His earnest, strolling riffs and hearing vocals are perfect for regretful, back porch listening at dusk."
  4. Freeman recently released an album titled, "Some Cats Live, Some Cats Die." Freeman created this album in a house on the outskirts of New York City, where he drew inspiration from the isolation and distressed nature of that physical space.
