Screen Shot 2020-03-11 at 3.05.21 PMAEG Presents is excited to announce that Dark Star Orchestra will be performing live at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Friday, July 3rd, 2020!

Dark Star Orchestra has been performing for over 20 years, having put on more than 2,8000 shows around the world. Dark Star Orchestra is comprised of seven talented musicians that work to recreate Grateful Dead's sound, while incorporating their own music catalog and improvisations. This mix of known and new music allows the band to resonate with fans from a wide range of demographics, creating a special experience for all listeners. At times, this special experience has been elevated, with the band bringing on special guests performers, including Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, to name a few.

Speaking on the music spectacle that they produce, keyboardist and vocalist Rob Barraco explains, "For us it’s a chance to recreate some of the magic that was created for us over the years. We offer a sort of a historical perspective at what it might have been like to go to a show in 1985, 1978 or whenever. Even for Deadheads who can say they’ve been to a hundred shows in the 90s, we offer something they never got to see live."

Tickets:

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 13th, at 10 A.M. General Admission tickets are $36.50 and can be purchased here
