This month, help KZYR celebrate Rocktober by tuning in to specially programmed music that corresponds with a theme. Some of the themese already explored this Rocktober are: Money, Blue Grass, Tony Gulizia, time/date, cats, Peace, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Elvis, The Moon, Made in the USA, Oscar Winners, Kings & Queens, Colorado, and The Body.
In the "Kings & Queens" category, "King's Highway," by Tom Petty, "Kings of the City," by Joe Jackson, "Mississippi Queen," by Mountain, "Sun King," by The Beatle and "Queen of Hearts," by Juice Newton were featured.
In "The Moon," category some of the songs were "Harvest Moon," by Neil Young, "Moonraker (James Bond movie theme)," by Shirley Bassey, "Bad Moon Rising," by Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Pink Moon," by Nick Drake, "Grapefruit Moon," by Tom Waits and "Moonlight Drive," by the Doors.
