Battle Mountain HIgh School football moves to 2-0 with a 50-8 win over the Alameda Pirates Friday night. A strong running attack coupled with a quick defensive secondary allowed the Huskies to get the win. Lightning delays early made for a late night, but Battle Mountain ran the game to the mercy rule in the fourth quarter, only allowing the Pirates one touchdown in the final minutes of the game.
The Huskies face the Basalt Longhorns next week at home in Edwards. Tune in to KZYR at 6:45 for pre-game programming with a 7:00 start.
