Race Day Bib Pickup and Registration: Broken Arrow restaurant in Arrowhead (everyone will need to sign a Vail Resorts waiver) beginning at 6 a.m.
Bag Drop: Extra clothing can be stored in Broken Arrow Restaurant.
Categories: Uphill ski, Uphill splitboard, Uphill non-ski/splitboard, Skimo (up and down)
Age Groups: 19 & Under; 20-39; 40-59; 60+
Awards: We will recognize the top three finishers by Category/Age/Gender
Course: Uphill route will take participants up Cresta and Pow Wow. Downhill route will be Golden Bear.
The Vail Recreation District brings their winter race events to Beaver Creek with an uphill and skimo competition. Competitors can choose the uphill or skimo (ascent and descent) option and can use any means to get up the mountain (snowshoes, skis, splitboards or winter running devices). Skis or a snowboard are required to compete in the skimo competition.
Participants will ascend approximately 1,700 vertical feet and just under two miles from the base of Arrowhead Village to the top of Arrow Bahn Express Lift. The event will conclude with breakfast and awards at Broken Arrow Restaurant at the base of Arrowhead.
