Glide into the New Year with Beers and Beacons. Beers and Beacons, which takes place on Wednesday, January 8th from 6-8 p.m. at the Bookworm in Edwards, supports the Glide Project and avalanche education. The mission of the Glide Project is to provide "free and subsidized avalanche education to Colorado's Youth." In addition to supporting the Glide Project, the event includes beacon education and essentials, as well as the chance to win swag bags from Black Diamond, Briko, SYNC and more.
Tickets for the event are $15, including appetizers and drinks. $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Glide Project. Additionally, attendees will also be eligible for 10% off of the book "Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain" by Bruce Temper. Tickets are can be purchased here or by calling (970)-926-7323.
