Only a few days remain for fans to submit a design for the helmet that two-time Audi FIS Alpine World Championship gold medalist Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) will wear while rocketing down the slopes at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
The winner will be chosen by Vonn, but hurry up and enter at www.NBCOlympics.com, the contest deadline is Monday, Dec. 21.
"There's been a lot of really cool ones so far, but just an FYI, my suit will be red, white and blue, so keep that in mind when you're creating a cool design," said Vonn minutes after winning the first downhill training run in Val d'Isere, France Wednesday.
In addition to having Vonn rock your design in Vancouver, the grand prize winner will also receive a five-day trip to Vail, CO with one guest and an NBC Sports Vancouver 2010 Olympic Prize Pack containing Vancouver 2010 Olympic-themed merchandise.
Also up for grabs are a pair of Head skis and bindings, plus a Uvex FP1 helmet and a pair of race goggles – the very same gear Vonn wears en route to the World Cup podium.
