Eagle River Water & Sanitation District is aware of the discoloration in the Eagle River running through Minturn. Tap water is safe to drink and use.

Drinking water intakes in the Eagle River at Avon and Edwards have been CLOSED as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of your drinking water supply. ERWSD will continue to monitor the situation and protect the water supply within the ERWSD service area (Vail, Eagle-Vail, Avon and Edwards areas).
