The Bill prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from using a wireless telephone (cell phone) while operating a motor vehicle. No cell phone use of any kind.
The Bill also prohibits drivers 18 years of age or older from any form of manual data entry into a wireless telephone while the motor vehicle they are operating is in motion. Manual data entry includes texting, checking email, or even dialing a telephone number.
