It's now official: the route for the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Vail, Steamboat and Salida were not included in the 2012 race.
The race will start in Durango and finish in Denver.
Here's the course:
Monday, Aug. 20 - Durango to Telluride
Tuesday, Aug. 21 - Montrose to Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte
Wednesday, Aug. 22 - Gunnison to Aspen
Thursday, Aug. 23 - Aspen to Beaver Creek
Friday, Aug. 24 - Breckenridge to Colorado Springs
Saturday, Aug. 25 - Golden to Boulder
Sunday, Aug. 26 - Denver (Individual Time Trial)
Race organizers have said repeatedly that they would like to establish a tradition ending the race in Denver. City boosters bid for a Sunday finish
