Singer/Songwriter Darden Smith is in Edwards this weekend (July 29-31) to present a songwriting retreat for wounded soldiers.

Songs frm the retreat will eventually be made into a new album and will be performed at the Faces of Freedom 9/11 event in Colorado Springs.

Darden dropped by the Zephyr to talk about his work to help veterans tell their stories and make the transition to civilian life.
