Pearl Jam will return to its Lollapalooza roots by serving as one of the headliners for the 2007 edition of the event, which will be held Aug. 3-5 in the city's Grant Park.  Last year the event moved to Chicago as a test and now the city will be the permenant home of the event for the next few years. 

A complete lineup will not be announced for a few more weeks but you can count on it being a major summer show. Last year attendees witnessed performances by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Wilco, Rancontuers and a sizzling set by My Morning Jacket amongst a hundred other bands.  The event is 3 days, 9 stages and more than 125 bands!
