Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page will be releashing a limited edition photo book for a mere $688. A new photo memoir collected by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page is due out on September 27 and will carry a hefty price tag of $688. The new book, Jimmy Page, will be offered in a limited run of 2,500 copies. Each will be signed and numbered by Page.

In a recent interview with the Mojo, Page explains that the photo autobiography, published by Genesis, is not your average book.

"I've really got a lot of time for the way Genesis produce their books, they're really quality items," he said. "As someone who's always been interested in having a library themselves, I appreciate fine bookbinding and their whole ethic of what they do and what they're trying to do with a whole catalogue of books."

Page continues on to say that while Jimmy Page, is his first published offering, it may not be his last.

"I considered doing a posthumous book," he said. "And I'm not joking. I genuinely thought about doing one. As usual it seems like a silly idea, but it wouldn't have been a silly idea if John Lennon had done one, would it? You know what I mean?"
