Eminem prepares final songs for June release of newest material called, "Recovery."
shortly after tweeting there will be no "Relapse 2" album on Wednesday morning (April 14), Eminem posted another tweet
announcing a new album title and a June 22 release date. "Recovery,"
read the straightforward message, followed by a link to his official
website, www.eminem.com, on which an official press release was posted.
"I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year," Eminem
said via the statement. "But as I kept recording and working with new
producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and
less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The
music on 'Recovery' came out very different from 'Relapse,' and I think
it deserves its own title."
DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Boi-1da, among others, lend their production efforts for the set.
