Cordillera Simple Snowshoe Event to Benefit Vail Symposium on March 1
There are just two more moonlit charity snowshoe races left this season at the Cordillera Nordic Center. On Monday evening, March 1, folks of all ages will strap on their snowshoes and don their headlamps to have fun in the snow while raising money for the Vail Symposium. So far this year, the outpouring of support at these events for local nonprofits has been phenomenal. Each race entry includes chili, brownies, hot cocoa, and a cash bar at Timber Hearth at Cordillera. 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit the Vail Symposium.
The Vail Symposium is a grassroots, non-profit organization that has been part of the life and history of Vail since 1971. Over the years, the organization has brought a wide variety of world-class speakers and events to the Vail Valley, and has provided educational programs for the community that are thought-provoking, diverse and affordable.
