U2 guitarist The Edge will host a charity auction on Saturday, May 31 to benefit the Music Rising foundation.

Music Rising, co-founded by the Edge, aids musicians who were affected by the Gulf Coast hurricanes in 2005. The Icons of Music Sale II will be held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Among the items being auctioned are a Miles Davis trumpet; guitars from the Edge, Kurt Cobain, Slash, Bono, Johnny Cash and others and a poem handwritten by Jim Morrison.
