I-70, Highways 6, 24 & 131
throughout Eagle County

Highway Cleanup: 9 am to noon
FREE Thank You BBQ: noon to 2 pm
Each April, following the end of ski season and as the spring melt gets underway, trash and debris emerges from under all the layers of snow. Eagle River Watershed Council‘s annual Community Pride Highway Cleanup is our valley’s way of sprucing up for residents and visitors alike. The Highway Cleanup, presented by Vail Resorts Echo, has become one of the state’s largest cleanups!
From 9 am to noon, more than 950 volunteers will join in on this annual rite of spring to pick up litter from over 140 miles of Eagle County roadways. Following a morning of hard work, volunteers and their families will enjoy a FREE Thank You BBQ at the Broken Arrow Restaurant at Arrowhead featuring live music, beer from Crazy Mountain, a raffle and delicious food!
