King of the Mountain Volleyball is pleased, and excited, to be able to host a bevy of AVP All-Stars — featuring 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist,Kerri Walsh Jennings — to help coach our FREE juniors volleyball clinic (which, by the way, is open to anyone, of either gender) as well as to put on a “special exhibition” at our Main Championship sand courts. Also, there will be a couple of “meet & greet” autograph sessions which will be held on the “International Bridge” in the Vail Village.
Along with Kerri, these current, and former, avp beach pros will be attending this “Special Event”: current pro beach player, former USA National Team Member, and 2009 AVP Rookie of the Year, Angie Akers; former beach professional and 2004 Olympian, Dax Holdren; and current beach professional and trainer, Ryan Mariano. We want to “thank” them for helping make this 41st anniversary of the Vail King of the Mountain Open a special one.
We are anticipating that this year’s tourney will not only be one of the most competitive, and fun Events in the tournament’s history; but, also, that the activities involved within the AVP All-Stars appearances will be fun and exciting for everyone.
